As a kid I didn't grow up wanting to be a writer, but as a young adult I found that writing was a way not only explore, but express my thoughts and feelings. The blank page felt trustworthy, a place where there were no judgements and honesty prevailed. It was free and limitless too, which meant it was always open to me. Writing has allowed me to look at life from many perspectives. Although not a formal education, writing has taught me a great deal about myself and how to live better.
